EXPOSING ATHI-RIVER BASE COMMANDER DENNIS MUREITHI NYAGAH
It has come to our notice that much complain has been raised on one of the senior security officer based at Athi River, Dennis Mureithi Nyagah. Mr. Nyagah has been abusing his powers by soliciting funds from culprits whom are arrested by his junior officers. Some of the complains we have received from the public is Mr. Nyagah squandering cash bails upon releasing of prisoners instead of taking them to court, The Base Commander has been mentioned in scandalous happenings that has seen majority being exploited at the expense of justice.
One of the incident is whereby Mr Nyagah initated for a breakdown vehiche to pull a car to the Athi River police station when it was involved in a minor accident along Kitengela. The victim narrated how Mr Nyagah called a breakdown which was believed to be in cohort with him in order to charge exorbitant charges upon pulling his car. He continued to narrate how his car was pulled even though it was in perfect condition to drive itself to the station. The breakdown charged the victim eight thousands shillings which was way too high as compared to the normal charges imposed by the breakdowns. Mr. Nyagah went ahead to ask for a bribe in order for him to to release the car and close the case. To solve the matter, the victim ended up sending a huge sum of money to a certain M-Pesa Agent Number which Mr,. Nyagah orders victims to send cash to once arrested as his share. Mr Nyagah has been put into question for having solicited bribes to majority of public members even by the request of being given a P3 and Police Abstract Form.
